Firstly, thanks for a magical day on Saturday. The regatta was superbly organized, huge fun, and, who booked the weather!
There were many people on the water taking photos, and possibly an official photographer? Is there any way to get/buy a copy of any good photos? Also, where can we send pictures, if you would like them?

Part of last year’s brief for the new website for the Mahurangi Magazine was photo gallery functionality that the old, hand-built site lacked. (The proximate spur was to help with the—successful, as it turned out—bid to get Tessa Berger, elected to the Rodney Local Board. Tessa is our new, 22-year-old president, and regatta announcer.)
Lyn Bergquist is effectively the official regatta, and he invariably supplies the Mahurangi Magazine, free of charge, with a fine selection of regatta day images. These will be published at 1012×719 pixels, and you can readily Save image as…
If you have need of any published image at a larger or original format, please let me know—it is likely that they will be available and unlikely that a cost will be involved, particularly to members of Mahurangi Action, the Mahurangi Cruising Club, or any of the contributing, visiting yacht and boating clubs.
If you supply the Mahurangi Magazine with images, which I very much hope you will do, please make them larger than 1012×719 to allow for possible cropping or straightening. On the other hand, if you prefer to do that yourself before sending, or linking, please by all means do so.

Taikata Sailing Club wishes to thank the organisers of the Mahurangi Regatta for another great regatta.
The club, and its Frostbites (designed by John Brooke in 1938), have been participating in the Mahurangi Regatta for more than 20 years, and the event is now a highlight on the club’s sailing calendar. This year there were seven Frostbites competing, a little down on some previous years when more than a dozen Frostbites have competed.
Once again, our thanks to the organisers of the Mahurangi Regatta.
